These terms apply to your use of newgrads.co.uk (the “Service”). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to them.
1. The Service
newgrads.co.uk helps you discover UK internships, placements, graduate schemes and entry-level roles published by third parties. Anyone can search and see a sample of matching roles. A free account gives access to every live listing. The Service is free, and we do not charge job seekers. Signed-in users can also have their CVs reviewed.
2. Accounts
- You must be 16 or over and give accurate information.
- You sign in with Google or a one-time email link. Keep access to your email and Google account secure.
- One account per person. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
3. Listings
Listings come from employers' careers sites and public job feeds. We are not the employer, recruiter or an employment agency, and we do not receive or forward applications. We do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, complete or still open, or that you will be offered an interview or job. Always check details, eligibility and closing dates on the original advert.
4. CV review
Signed-in users can upload CVs to get an automated ATS review with a score and, on request, a recruiter review written by an AI model. The score is a general guide produced by fixed rules. The recruiter review is generated automatically, can contain mistakes and may suggest wording that is not accurate for you: check every suggestion and only put true statements in your CV. Neither is matched to any job, neither is careers advice, and neither reflects how any particular employer or applicant tracking system will treat your CV. AI reviews are limited per account each day, and we may change those limits. We do not guarantee that following the suggestions will lead to an interview or a job. You must only upload your own CV, and it must not contain other people's personal information or anything unlawful. You keep ownership of your CVs and can delete any of them at any time; we use it only to provide this feature, as described in our privacy policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- scrape, copy or systematically download listings or other data from the Service;
- share your account, resell access or get around access controls or rate limits;
- interfere with the Service, upload harmful files or introduce malicious code;
- use the Service unlawfully or to harm others.
6. Intellectual property
We own the Service, its software, design and original content. Employers and other third parties own their names, logos and adverts. You may use the Service for your own personal job search.
7. Suspension and changes
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Service. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or others at risk.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not responsible for third-party websites, employment decisions or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
